Marta is an empathetic, personable and passionate interior designer serving the Issaquah, Washington area. Born in Poland (she still speaks Polish fluently!), she grew up in the Northeast and settled into the Seattle area shortly after graduating from college. Marta earned a Chemical Engineering degree from Cornell University and worked in the food product development field at Kraft Foods and Starbucks.

Her creative spirit has always driven her, both professionally and personally. Her passion for design was initially sparked following her own life transition when, after her divorce, she completely renovated and furnished her new home from top to bottom. That was the start to developing her skills in renovation and design – and choosing materials, decor, and furniture that pull an entire space together. She has since worked hard to supplement her passion for design with relevant skills, and launched Marta Cicero Design with the goal of helping others create living spaces that inspire joy and happiness.

Today, Marta passionately partners with individuals facing life’s transitions—whether you’re embracing a fresh start after a significant change, relocating for new opportunities, or simply craving a space that reflects who you are—to create homes that evoke warmth, joy, and a sense of belonging.
